Helsinki Finland Transport - Your flight to Helsinki will land at the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, a mere 30 minute ride to the city center by bus. However, you can take the taxi to the city center for only $24 to $30.
There are many ways to travel inside and out of Helsinki depending on your choice and budget. You can take the train from the Kaivokatu train station, bus from the Salomonkatu and Simonkatu bus station, ferry from the Katajanokka Island or a private car.

The Helsinki Card is a must for every tourist in Helsinki. It will give you access to public transport and to most attractions in Helsinki (including free access to more than 50 museums, the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress and the Helsinki Zoo). It also serves as a discount card.
With the Helsinki Card, you need not queue for transportation tickets for your Helsinki tour.
